A. Overall Purpose Of The Job (Brief description of the primary purpose of this position)
Training managers are specialists who help businesses by developing, facilitating and supervising training programs for employees. They assess the needs of a business, implement training and development plans, and facilitate a wide variety of training programs that enhance the effectiveness of the workforce. The candidate will be based at the Corporate Office of a Novo Medi Sciences Pvt Ltd in Dadar East, Mumbai and will be responsible for handling Sales training and Product training across pediatric and vaccines segments covering PAN India operations.
B. Key Responsibilities (Critical responsibilities and skills of this position) Specific Responsibilities
• Assessing and identifying sales training needs of field force through surveys, focus group discussions, consultations with Sales Managers, PMT, etc. • Reviews existing training programs; suggests and implements enhancements and modifications for improvement. • Creation of training manual/ material, Product test sheets, evaluation test sheets. • Schedule training session in coordination with Sales, Marketing and HR. • Formulating and conducting product and sales training sessions for Sales force; online/ virtual training fortnightly basis and centralized / zonal training monthly basis. • Formulating and conducting online tests weekly basis. • Assess employees’ skills, performance and productivity to identify areas of improvement • Conducting management development programs for 1st and 2nd line managers • Updating Training Records of ASMs, RBMs & MSRs and ensure all mandatory training requirements are met. • Visiting doctors in the field periodically to understand and improve in clinic effectiveness of the medical representative and also gathering customer insights.
Other Duties • To work within and adhere to all policies and procedures. • Keep abreast of training trends, developments and best practices. • To own and manage specific member programs assigned. • To carry out any other reasonable duties as requested by the senior management members. C. Job Profile Required Skills and Knowledge (Brief description of technical knowledge or skills needed to perform the job) • Experience in conducting Management Development Programs for 1st and 2nd line managers and assessment centers for internal promotion will be an advantage • Should be well versed in MS - Office. • Familiar with traditional and modern training processes. • Fantastic organizational and time management skills. • Strategic and creative mindset. • Meticulous attention to detail. • Should have good coordination and team management skills • Adapt his/her position, decision, and/or strategy based on changing information and/or circumstances. • Able to work in a calm, logical and professional manner at all times.
